Without Music, Life would be a Mistake - Nietzsche

After watching a Pete and Pete episode where little Pete finds his favorite song (A Hard Day's Pete) and then watching Sound City and being blown away that so many of my favorite songs had come from the same soundboard in the same studio (you NEED to see this movie, tonight.) I combined the two ideas into the age old question: What's your favorite album of all time?  It's a question that everyone has been asked before, but no one minds being asked again. Because who doesn't love to talk about their favorite album? It gives us all a chance to talk about something that we associate with our identity, and often, with some of our favorite memories - times when the music played. Perhaps, this is why so many people have such a hard time answering the question (some people refused - shocked that anyone could commit to just one) others gave me "ties" some people gave me multiple answers based on genres, but others answered immediately as if they had been waiting all day for me to ask. What about you? What's your favorite?

Here they are:
  • Rumors - Fleetwood Mac
  • Greatest Hits - Bruce Springsteen
  • Black album - Metallica
  • Abbey Road - The Beatles
  • Pinkerton - Weezer
  • Rubber Soul - The Beatles
  • Greatest Hits - Van Morrison
